چکیده

Sufficient glucose availability is crucial for exploiting the genetic potential of milk production during early lactation, and endocrine changes are mainly related to repartitioning nutrient supplies toward mammary gland. Long-chain fatty acids, such as essential acids (EFA) conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), have improve negative energy balance modify changes. In present study, hypothesis that combined CLA EFA treatment supports metabolism around time calving stimulates insulin action somatotropic axis in cows an additive manner was tested. Rumen-cannulated German Holstein (n = 40) were investigated from wk 9 antepartum (AP) until postpartum (PP). The abomasally supplemented with coconut oil (CTRL, 76 g/d); 78 g/d linseed 4 safflower (EFA); Lutalin (CLA, isomers cis-9,trans-11 trans-10,cis-12 CLA, each 10 or combination EFA+CLA. Abomasal infusion of cis or trans fatty acid isomers and energy metabolism of lactating dairy cows.

Diets for dairy cows that provide or induce formation of trans isomers of polyunsaturated fatty acids result in reduced percentages of milk fat. The effect of abomasal infusion of trans-C18:1 fatty acid isomers on energy utilization by mature cows was determined. Six multiparous Holstein cows in midlactation had ad libitum access to a basal diet containing 50% forage and 50% concentrate. Treatm...

Effect of Conjugated Linoleic Acid Supplement and Sesame as Source of N-6 on Performance and Milk Fatty Acid Profile of Holstein Dairy Cows During Transition Period

Background: Feeding unsaturated fatty acids sources in dairy cows is considered as a strategy to improve animal health during postpartum period and milk fatty acid profile. OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to investigate the effects of conjugated linoleic acid supplement and combination of sesame meal and oil on performance and milk fatty acid composition of dairy cows during transition period. Effect of dietary conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) on the metabolism and reproduction of dairy cows

Rumen-protected conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) reportedly improves fertility in lactating dairy cows by reducing the postpartum interval to first ovulation and enhancing the circulating insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) levels. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the blood metabolites, hormones, follicular fluid (FF) and liver for the effect of CLA supplementation (50 g top-dressed...

Rumen-protected conjugated linoleic acid supplementation to dairy cows in late pregnancy and early lactation: effects on milk composition, milk yield, blood metabolites and gene expression in liver

BACKGROUND Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a collective term for isomers of octadecadienoic acid with conjugated double-bond system. Thus, it was the objective to investigate whether milk composition and metabolic key parameters are affected by adding CLA to the diet of dairy cows in the first four weeks of lactation. METHODS A study was carried out with five primiparous cows fed a CLA supp...

Transcript profiling in the liver of early-lactating dairy cows fed conjugated linoleic acid

In the present study, transcript profiling was carried out in liver biopsies from high-yielding dairy cows at week 5 of lactation in order to identify genes and pathways regulated by feeding rumen-protected conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) during the transition period. Analysis of a bovine whole genome microarray revealed a total number of 130 annotated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in th...
